Users of Waterloo rail station may have recently noticed the appearance of two stunning ‘Mega banners’, which were first used by 118 118 as part of their Station Domination campaign.
The sheer size, coupled with the prime location on the central concourse, means that these enormous banner sites are truly unmissable. The first, located above the entrances to platforms 3-6, measures 675 sq. ft. whilst the second, located above the entrance to platforms 13-18, is almost double the size; a whopping 1,120 sq. ft. Together, they cover every single commuter waiting for and boarding trains at Waterloo, not to mention the additional hordes of people using the station for its varied restaurants and shops.
And Titan has even BIGGER plans for Rail, providing advertisers with a 3,000 sq. ft. creative canvas in one of the most iconic locations on the Rail network. The new ‘Clapham XXL’ spans the length and height of 7 double-decker buses parked end-to-end; enough to even give Evil Knievel the shakes.
The site incorporates a 2m wide platform running the full length of it, which gives advertisers the opportunity to showcase their product in a 3-dimensional display. The site also has added height allowances for special cut-out artwork, so this giant site presents a really big opportunity for some great creative.
The ‘Clapham XXL’ site is located trackside on the approach into and exit out of Clapham Junction. With over 2,000 trains daily and 40 million passenger journeys annually, Clapham Junction is one of Europe’s busiest interchange rail stations.
